Rooted in Maine Since 1954

Casco Federal Credit Union has proudly served Southern Maine since 1954. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, we've spent more than 70 years helping our neighbors reach their financial goals while growing alongside the communities we serve.

  • 1968: Renamed Maine Central Federal Credit Union
  • 1975: Merged with the University of Maine Portland-Gorham FCU to become Maine Educational Federal Credit Union
  • 1977: Established Gorham as our permanent home and became Maine Educational–Gorham Community Federal Credit Union
  • 1982: Renamed Gorham Regional Federal Credit Union
  • 1992: Moved into our current Main Street Gorham location
  • 2002: Expanded our community charter to Cumberland County
  • 2003: Became Casco Federal Credit Union
